Established in 1986, Walden Grille has become a favorite gathering spot for both locals and visitors alike. Tucked gently amongst the quaint and unique shops in Concord Center's historic district, a warm and friendly atmosphere awaits all who enter.
Originally housing the town's first firehouse constructed in 1903, the interior of the restaurant retains its' charm with exposed brick and wainscoted paneled walls featuring paintings by local artists. Entering the restaurant, guests have a choice of the main dining room for a formal type setting or the horseshoe-shaped bar area for a more relaxed and casual experience.
Specializing in Creative American Fare, the lunch menu offers a variety of soups, sandwiches and salads, as well as daily entrée specials. A local favorite is the Walden Chicken Salad, a grilled boneless breast served with apple-maple thyme dressing over a bed of fresh greens. The dinner menu features duck, roast lamb, and filet mignon. Fresh seafood selections include shrimp, salmon, scallops, tilapia, and mahi-mahi.
The full service bar features an assortment of beers, including Concord Pale Ale and a well-rounded wine list designed to complement the cuisine.
